Actually read (and take good notes on) the textbook that your teacher assigns. The vast majority of the information is in the textbook. Lectures are just summarizations of the book most of the time. And obviously do assignments as soon as possible.

From my experience, I'd say you really need good structured time management. If you want good grades you really need to focus on your work and structure everything appropriately so that you don't panic, stress, and leave everything to the last minute. Leaving big projects to the last minute is a bad idea.

Forget the friendship/relationship extra stuff that doesn't come at ease...like the 1 girl said- Study more. You're there for your education to advance not for a social club you'll mostly forget soon enough.

Last advice is everything.. really, I've made so many friendships with this person and that person but at the end of the school year no one of them is still my friend really, so take your time in getting to know people and don't rush

"Meets many ppl as you can cause that's what u gonna remember" that's BS. Nobody cares about anyone after few months of graduating unless u were very close friends. Have supportive ppl around u instead of having many people.

Absolutely do internships. I did 3 in my 3 of 4 yrs in college. It helps you decide what you do and don't want to pursue. It makes it much more possible to have a meaningful resume and the experience to get into your career. My 3rd internship, I was immed. chosen from a small group to be hired full time and at a good salary. Plus I paid off my student loans in 10yrs.
