I believe that when we come to understand that our sense of self is made up of thoughts, ideas, words, and images even what we consider to be physical reality is just a concept in the mind. The saying 'The universe is mental' reflects this notion. When you realize that the very tool through which we perceive reality isn’t real by our own definition, then what it reflects can not be real either; once this realization dawns upon you.
What we call reality is seen as an illusion. At this stage, one may not have fully realized their true self, but they become aware that they are not who they once believed themselves to be and that their true self remains unknown. This understanding leads to the dropping of the ego = less judgemental.

4:50 this has always been my problem. What you're saying here is (at this point) absolutely common sense to me, intellectually and logically. These things are "my etc., and not "me" -- however, I can't seem to figure out how to FEEL like I'm the awareness/aware one, despite KNOWing that I am. There's a barrier between knowing and feeling; which I've only ever breached once, barely and for a few fleeting seconds, during an Ayahuasca ceremony. Where, I not only knew that I was the same as the rest of existence, but I felt it. And then it was gone :(

I change the word reality to source/energy ..it's neutral ...realities can be manipulated because ...that's the harvesting of it all. Denial of the farm will not get you to the core.. The reality(s) is about the drug called Loosh.
