I actually just noticed that, in the first phase of the Magolor fight, Magolor expresses fine. But in the second phase, he never stops smiling, even when defeated, implying that he no longer has control over his own emotions.

Funny thing is that in the Second Phase we are not fighting against Magolor, but the own Master Crown, its infinite power knows no limit, but Kirby, the ultimate life-form, Meta Knight and Bandana Dee have unlimited power when fighting together as a team

Isn’t it scary that the Master crown, the crown that gave Magolor such terrifying ruthless power to almost destroy and conquer entire dimensions, was spawned by Void Termina merely as a tool to assist him to defeat Kirby in the Soul Melter boss battles? Goes to show how far things have come since then, but when one takes possession of these fabled crowns, it’s good to know it will never end well.
