A women walking across her bedroom one night while talking to her husband, who was in bed, suddenly felt something in her bedroom slipper, took it off and found a silver coin from the 1700s! There was no way it could get there, since she only wore them at home in the evening. They could not discover where it came from, and never could have anyone tell them where it originated. Another couple staying at a regular motel 6 type of motel woke one night to find the floor next to the bed had a black swirling hole in the floor...they were completely terrified...and tried to just hang onto the bed and not get sucked in. I can't remember where I saw that story but I remember it everytime we travel....

I watched the experiment video on YouTube and the scientists were able to decode the cats' brainwaves and produce an image on TV. They found when cats were looking at humans, humans had cat-like faces for some reason.

Did some independent checking -- the L-8 blimp crew was only two people. Yes, still a mystery, but it's not like a half dozen people vanishing. It's very plausible that a Japanese sub surfaced (they had just reported an oil slick that would indicate a sub) and ordered the crew members down, since threatening to shoot the blimp's balloon would leave them no choice. The two could have been captured or shot on the water.
The Gadianton Canyon encounter story has holes in it. The name of the Utah state trooper listed in versions of the story as the person the girls reported the encounter to, according to one site, has never been on the rolls of the department's rosters.
If this story is genuine, the students were in trouble for being late back to the lock down dorm, so they had an incentive to make up an excuse after they apparently took a couple of wrong turns. Just sayin.

If these things happen that often, more people would believe it, if someone took a video camera to record it. Otherwise, it's just people trying to get attention like the near death people talking about seeing God.
