Im 19 and just heard that one person in such a group in my school like 5 years ago is going to jail soon and other ones life is pretty close too. Can see how easily the "bad" people in school ruin their lives later

Yes! I have drama with them and we were doing an improv exercise that you have to be really open for and they were literally hating on every one for being original and creative but when they’re friends came up, they would do something simple and boring and they would start clapping and cheering. And it’s so annoying to watch because most of the people they were hating on were really kind

My friends and I will joke insult each other, but we are also very clear it’s in good fun and none of it is serious.

We can also generally tell and apologize if we do actually hurt someone

One time I actually told them to shut up because the guy they were making fun of was right in front of them and he looked hurt. So I essentially just asked them to stop being bishes and they shut up after that. I felt pretty good lol.

It’s mainly peer pressure and toxic friends

I was walking with my friend to class and a group of boys start shouting at her “Hey Karen!!!” Then started laughing. I was super upset that they made fun of her, but she was smiling. She didn’t care about what they think. That’s one of the many reasons she is an awesome friend.
