Did This SAVE Idle Heroes?!?!

Hey everyone, what is your take on this? I feel like the reward structure of events was the biggest complain in the past year, and if this Glorious Treasury is here to stay, the early game rewards are MUCH easier to come by!!!

These two events helped build Betty's core from the ground up and gather 5m stellar shards. I've been playing since 2018 and we've never been given a better event and for free!

I'd love to see big events like these coming, not just some half measures to ease the community after fumbling anniversary. In terms of resources anarchy, sub and core should have around the same value as artifact chest 18 months ago. I would love to see Destiny materials for buying value packages too. The only thing that's still bugging me is the awakening system. We should see more chances to obtain B or higher stones and the idea of bound stones is just horrendous. All the Giant Killers are just gonna lie around in whale's account if this continues.

The shop and the new reward systems ia a great change.
The only things I’d want to change is:

1) localizing prices cuz I also wanna spend for quite some time now to at least support the game but not at its current absurdly steep prices 😭😭 100 usd is 5000 where I’m from

2) Hope they re-prioritize in bettering the 3 big events of the year (CNY, anniv, & xmas). Having random weeks have really good rewards is great and all but the structure of timeline like 4 years ago (4th anniv) was goldilocks. Everyone could save for the months in-between and spend at those events. But most specially, THE DOUBLE HERO RELEASE!!! OML please bring that back or have double trans release and just pick either if you are F2P or go for both when you’re a spender

the only thing I wish they should change is giving a 2x discount in shop 2 (artis) too since they're not worth getting compared to cores/subs

The past 2 events with that shop have been amazing!!! I've spent more on the past few events with that shop, than I have in the past 2 years. The "value" is absolutely there with that shop and it makes it exciting to play again because I feel like I'm actually making progress now and not just stale, sitting and hoping

To be honest this was a great idea. Only thing that may be better is as the game progresses you add levels of the mall at the bottom. As levels are added more are unlocked at the beginning. Songor example they add a new level at the bottom and level 3 us unlocked before there is any spending. If you need to keep or throw in more discounts you can. This would keep the powercreep behind the paywall but help f2p and noobs get to the point they need to spend.

Its a good step in the right direction..they have to do something about A- copies so that f2p could at least get 1..the rewards from void campaign should be at least 5-10 times higher to make it easier to get essence and the new mats

Glorious treasure looks good because earlier events very terrible. You need 8 chests for core and 8 chests for sublimation to fully max a hero. F2P can get 2 chests per event, if the event repeats every other week, it would take 16 weeks per hero to DT (of course we have to ignore 40k gem requirement per event). To get hero requirement for max DT level, you would need nearly 2 years. This will place you 2 power creeps behind for today.

last few weeks had good events, they just need to keep it up. Keep the campaign drop rewards, change outdated rewards and add new stuff etc.
It just would be nice tbh if they give us some variety, always adding this shop now is kinda nice but also a bit boring?
Small things could make the game so much better as f2p.

Yeah, this store is the best thing to happen to the game in a long time.
I also think the math to not get all the rewards for whales was a programing mistake that won’t happen again.

hey barry i did what you sugested in the 5 min old account video. ive been active in all events and even pushed arcade. im at e5 melissa with 5k cot and 10k stellar. if i played my cards right and picked lofa instead as first e5 i could legit have lofa at ToO 3 right now. my acc is like 3 weeks old. eloise for first e5 is in the past. lofa as first e5 is the new best way to go.

Probably nothing new but this is the biggest problem I have in right now. I want to play to have fun which doesn't always mean playing the most optimally. The problem is that when you start getting to destiny you have to build cores for a hero and their tenants. Since cores are so hard to build even with the new system AND cannot be transferred between heroes, you basically have to commit to whoever you first transition (unless you have been playing a long time and have all the cores or spend). I don't like using LoFA but I feel like the game is forcing me to go with him because I don't really have the option to transition away from a less optimal pick once I start going into destiny. I really don't want to get railroaded into a single hero pick for such a long time.

Loved this event, it's helping F2P actually make progress. The other thing worth noting is it's nice not to have to wait until the thursday to participate. Cheers for the video

I feel like the shop permanently cuts off the higher tier items. It used to be you would get the newer stuff rarely and randomly - a core chest, aurora gems. But this set up stratifies the rewards in a way that will mean F2P players will progress fairly evenly. I'm not sure I like that.

I really hate how the glorious treasury makes you choose subs instead of giving the melon chest, but that's my only small issue with it.
