What seems to get mixed up in the video is that the term 'Angel Eyes' refers to the "Halo Rings" which you see when the lights are on. These are a signature trademark of many BMW vehicles also other than the E60. The shape of the glass of the headlamps on the E60 may be controversial, but the Angel Eyes in the lights themselves have nothing to do with that.

My E60 M5 has 161, 000 miles. It has 10, 000 miles on it’s rebuilt Motor and SMG transmission. There is nothing else like it on the road.
