Belgium was able to solve mer etenic problem by following these steps..
1)b&w1970-1993 they ammended ther constitution 4 times to work out the different cultured people live together in the same country.
2)They accepted that in the central government the dutch speaking and french speaking members should be equal.
3)They accepted that in the state government the dutch speaking and french speaking members should be equal.
4)The central gave equal power to the state government now the state government is not subordinate to Central government.
5)A part for central and state government they formed a community government which are elected by people belonging to one language community-french, dutch and German no matter where they live.This government have power regarding langauge, culture, education related issues.
