Excellent tutorial!

However, I'm taking a finance class where we have to use weighted returns or expected value. My data is not equally weighted.

100 *1
700 *.4
1400 *.4
2000 *.1

When I use either excel or my hp calculator I get $716. But I know the answer is $528 because my textbook has it. I did it by hand and also got $528.
