7 Days To Die CHEAT Codes and Creative Commands - How To!

I go through Cheat Codes and Creative Commands in 7 Days to Die Alpha 19, covering a bunch of really useful codes and commands you can use (cheat or creative, you decide!) when you run the game!

Whether you're trying to give yourself an edge, or simply doing creative building, testing or otherwise exploring the game, I leave up to you!

00:00 - Intro
01:20 - F1 - creative and debug mode
01:55 - u for creative block/item picker
03:25 - Creative paintbrush
04:15 - h to fly- q for god mode
04:45 - shift q to teleport forward
05-05 - ctrl-right click teleport on map
05:32 - f6 spawn in entity
06:15 - num-pad * to stop movement - ctrl-* stop animation
07:08 - num-pad 0 for entity debug info
07:48 - hitpoints bar in god mode
08:35 - console "killall" command
08:55 - settime dd hh mm to set time and date
09:20 - esc and change time/day - collision etc
09:45 - num-pad - (minus) and + (plus) to speed/slow up entity speeds "enter" to pause/reset.
10:30 - giveselfxp to give yourself experience points
11:00 - detaching camera with f5 -- p -- [ bracket to switch camera/character movement.

Creative codes have been around as long as I have been gaming in 1977, it's there for obvious reasons and I support the use of it. Great video, thanks Vedui!

I've no problem with cheating in a single player game. If it doesn't ruin your experience, or even enhances it, and you enjoy it...go for it.

Wow, so glad you did this video. I've never used any of the non in games stuff. I'm doing a massive in game build where I am developing a storyline to make content around. For my dark energy reactor I need those control consoles and now I can get them into the game. So very happy now. Thank you so much. Keep them coming. I personally don't give a crap about people using the console stuff in their games. It's there game.

I just started a new game. I am play rolling as Daryl from TWD. So, I gave myself a crossbow with enough points to max out dexterity and archery. I also teleported to the farm and placed a motorcycle in the barn. I teleported back to my initial spot and made my way there. a couple of other things I did was made sure I had low armor but with pockets.

I figure he knows how to do things but got separated from the group and now even though he has the skills he still has to figure out how to survive.
I have started so many times from scratch that this might be a different way to have fun with the game.

Next, I think I am going to do the same thing but as Negan :)

As a beginner you can activate in the startmenue the creativ modus. In game, as a beginner, you can give you a pistol and 9mm ammunition or other things to survive until you know the game.

I have watched my mom play 7 Days to Die since it came out liek 10 years ago when i was 8, now i have the game finally and am playing in Creative and so excited

I'm about to use Creative Mode for the fisrt time. I'm sick of having to start from scratch almost every update(it used to be fun & challenging for me). I'm going to give myself things that I've already spent years accumulating, numerous times, over several previous Alpha's.

Also as far as people getting touchy about the cheats its their game the way they wanna play is up to them as long as I dont have to be forced to do cheats its all good.

Man.. I needed this vid months ago. The wiki is thorough, but not especially helpful. But hey, better late than never. 😊

I'll never understand why people get bent out of shape for people using 'cheats' in single player games. Not that there's anything wrong with playing the base game as intended. It's just annoying when people think they should tell others how to play. Besides, if it wasn't for debug mode and the creative menu, we wouldn't have some absolutely amazing custom POIs. Some game companies, Pimps included, end up hiring modders, expanding the talent pool and enriching the game.

The point of a videogame is to have fun. As long as your not hurting anyone, you do you. 👍

Thanks for the informative video. I didn't know about the control asterisk command or that god mode enabled the red health bar indicator. Personally I think the creative and debug modes of the game are what make 7DTD such an awesome game. Without them I would have become bored with the game and stopped playing it a long time ago. The ability to customize the game is what keeps me interested in the game and allows me to continue to enjoy it. I do wish that they had not disabled the K menu in the game for A19. I miss being able to easily clear out a flat section of land.

Thanks man i saved up 195k for a chopper. Talked to 2 traders in the same area and it killed me some how and glitched my backpack out of the map. maybe now i will find it. Thanks for the vid

for the dev blocks with the U menu, just type in "dev" with the blocks enabled, and all dev items show up.

I’d love to see a video, or series of them, giving brief overviews of various overhaul mods for 7D2D, I mean I know about DF & WotW, as I’ve been playing them for years, but there are so many, on the mod launcher alone, that I don’t have any clue about.

I'm a builder. I love the building system in this game, and when it comes to creative mode, this allows you to test out different ideas for when you do play online with friends.

My take is that if you are using creative mode to avoid death or obtain something that you are not finding in game - it's fine if you are having fun, just don't brag about how well you are doing afterward :)

wont bash folks who use the commands or creative mode. after what happened today, i might start playing in creative mode just to get my crap back when a glitch happens. my vehicle and all that was on it, vanished.... gone, was in the middle of moving my base when the power went out and it was gone with no way to get it back. love the game, but still has a few flaws in it. playing in this mode, i will be able to get my stuff back if needed. just because cheat mode/creative mode is on, does not mean you have to use it folks. however, if your in the mode, and you get a glitch like i just did, you can fix it np.
