Promotions to prevent them from leaving. Mercedes did the same to Bono fearing that he will leave to Ferrari with Lewis. RedBull is on the way to a steady downfall. Max shouldn't have rejected the Mercedes offer.

To me, this seems like a HUGE conflict of interest.
How can one driver's race engineer ALSO be head of racing.
This all but guarantees that even if they replace Checo, the next driver is going to face the same number of bad strategy and design calls made to help just one driver.
This team really is in crisis.

Am I the only person who is questioning why GP has been promoted twice and even that mid season?
( He now will go from doing a single role to 4 different and senior roles from 2025)
It's so messy that they haven't publicly announced it they just told the staff in the factory.
I think they are trying to hide the fact that they are needing to have 4 different people fill in on a role mastered by Jonathan Wheatley.
But still what's the need to give someone 4 roles and risk disability within the team? This is just gonna increase the already existing problem of ego and not getting credit in the team that caused Adrian to leave.

GP was always going to move on just like Bono at Mercedes. If they want to keep these qualitiy people they have to give them more responsibility and frankly, Jonathan moving to audi opend op the possibilities to promote these people otherwise it wouldn't be inconceivable they would have lost them as well. Max will probably get a new race engineer next year. As good as these two are together it would be good for them to have a fresh perspective especially with the 2026 regulations where GP will have his hands full. Maybe Richard Cooke, Max's current performance engineer will fulfill that role. It will be interesting to see how Max responds to a new Voice in his comms.

Causing a huge internal chair dance that eventually won’t turn around the situation that Red Bull finds themselves in either.

Which is really unfortunate considering GP is an unbelievable asset to the team and next to that he is a great person to his immediate surroundings too.

All this major reshuffle in dominant championship constructors. firstly was mercedes then after their dominance was redbull and they are reshuffling 😂😂😂 if the next few yrs mclaren becomes dominant i think mclaren might be the next major reshuffle 😂 lets not count alpine in as they are basically changing every year tho haha😂😂😂
