Afie talks turkey about his old J45. A good chunk of the hunk was written on this guitar. #ToneSecrets

Amigo, that's not bragging...that's admiring and having pride in the tools of your trade. Please keep these episodes coming.

I can now die in peace. I’ve heard cyndi lauper on a 1948 j45.

No brags, we wanna know!! I’m so happy these amazing instruments are being cared for by someone who plays them so beautifully.

What a great vid, in so many ways. Hits close Afie. My Dad played an early 60s J45 or maybe a J50; it has always been the sound against which all other guitars are judged, for me. He played for us growing up, and passed the guitar on to my bro for his 16th birthday. Such love. Keep the tradition alive.

A video series on his guitar collection would be nice af! I think most of his fans are also guitar players and would like content like that.

With your humble Canadian mannerisms nobody would think you're bragging! More please these are great, and that was a friggin' adorable moment at the end there

I doubt I could make it sound that good.. absolutely waxy licks laid down effortlessly. Much love from GA, USA. I’ve seen you live 3 times - the first show in Nashville in a small venue and again at the war memorial auditorium with City and Colour. That was many years ago and to this day I haven’t heard a tone so crisp and genuine that you and your bandmates bring. I will have a special place for your music in my heart, brother. Merry Christmas!

Thank you, you do a great music, and this guitar has to be with you. So easy is it.

Lol! The breakaway into song for your kids was hilarious and in complete contrast to the serious tone of the guitar review. Loved the video dude, subscribing

That is a fine guitar and being proud of it isn't a problem. Every guitar has a story that is half of what a good guitar is, its story. Love it that you are telling its story. The children being present shows that family aspect of music and perhaps the passing of the guitar at a much later date. All the best to you and your family!

I own a script only j45 from 46 or 47. I’m very humbled to have a piece of history. There really is no comparison when playing a newer one. Nice guitar you have there. We are very lucky. From Vancouver island

The humble family guy is almost the best bit about this dude. Inspiring dads the world over.

Very cool! Love a j45, I've owned a few & will never not own one. I've never owned a true vintage one like this due to obvious financial reasons... one day. Awesome bit with the girls at the end! So wholesome & fun!

Keep these going. Love the stories. Maybe say what song you wrote on those guitars, or what songs they are meant for.
