A Tour of Historic Downtown Livermore

This is a recording of the Zoom presentation on January 20, 2021. Richard Finn, Livermore City Historian, presented “A Tour of Historic Downtown Livermore." This lecture was part of Then & Now: Livermore Stories, a local history lecture series presented by the Livermore Heritage Guild and the Livermore Public Library. Take a virtual walk with Richard Finn, Livermore City Historian, down Livermore's Main Street (now First Street), from Lizzie Street (now S Livermore Avenue) to L Street, in the late 1800s. Mr. Finn will identify some of the Tri-Valley’s pioneers and explain why they came here. He will also show some of the great old buildings that once stood in Livermore.
