Amazing video!! Grew up never learning to fish or hunt and essentially self taught. Your videos have helped so much in my confidence to go out and try your techniques to catch fish and not be looked upon as ignorant. Hoping to kill it on the carbon this weekend thanks to you. Thank you Leif for all you've done. Keep on educating!! :)

Never seen anyone so happy to battle fish in a crowd. Love the cleaning up the rio trash bag. Respect to that. Keep fishing and having fun.

I very much appreciate the level of teaching you put into this. As a beginner, the etiquette and very basic stuff is super helpful.

My 9'6 okuma cecilio rod with a shimano sedona 2500 reel caught my first ever sturgeon at 52" on a retention day of all things. shimano and okuma are tried and true for me. Ive used that brand for years for everything and couldnt say anything better about their stuff. (granted shimano is owned by okuma lol) so it makes sense both are well made and durable. i love seeing local people using "cheaper end" gear like me with great success. ive been watching you since yesterday and you have a new sub and glad to keep watching more 👍

Much respect for you being a positive presence on the river. Sharing your last fish of the day created a great memory for the youngster, even after you recomended against netting your fish in that area. Liked and subscribed
