I just sewed this bag in a class. The pattern is perfectly constructed. I admire the ideas and the technique used. It's one of the best patterns I've ever sewn.

Any chance I could make this about 1.5 inches wider? I'm trying to find a pattern that I can use as a school backpack so it would have to fit my tablet inside. I love this bags lines and think I may be able to alter it like I said. My tablet is 8.5" tall by 13" wide.
