Prong is possibly the most underrated bands EVER! They really should be talked abt in the same breath as Pantera, Metallica and Megadeth when discussing the greatest Metal/Groove Metal bands. It's sad to see bands like Prong kind of sliding into irrelevance because they never got huge and now everyone listens to HipHop/Rap.

Tommy is a chill dude. I met him at a show, and we talked about real estate and the band Killing Joke. Ha!

Tommy is the real deal. He does what he does because he loves it. That's when the music comes out good.

I have been a fan since the late 80's. These guys could make a lot of money if they had the right management. I listen to Prong on Apple Music at least once or twice a week. I own their CDs. I would pay money to hang out with these guys or see them in concert. Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck!

Surprised to hear that Tommy rents a room in ahouse to live and how frugal he is. He's been around so long and is a Thrash Metal Legend. He should be living better. Humble dude too.

Tommy is one of the nicest dudes in the biz. Have met and hung out with him after shows a handful of times and he remembered me every single time!

I remember seeing "prove you wrong" on Beavis and Butthead back in the day and been hooked ever since

I remember hating " and justice for all" because I was listening to "Beg to Differ" at the time... I suspect one of these days Tommy will have a massive hit in the media and won't know what he should do about it!

This is one of the best interviews I have ever seen. I had a friend when I was teenager who had their demo tape. They always had more of a hard-core sound to me, more than metal. Either way, they are great!

I remember when 'Rude Awakening' came out and blew me away. And today they're still great. Great respect for Mr. Victor.

Mr Victor has a distinct guitar style that's all his own, hard to find in newer players IMO. A lot of the Metalcore guys sound like they all listened to the same 5 or albums and based their style from that. Thus, they all sound the same. It was a bit shocking to hear Tommy rents a room, but he probably still lives in NYC-renting a decent room is NOT $100 a week or something in NYC. As far as music goes, I feel Beg to Differ, Prove You Wrong, Cleansing and Rude awakening are prong's best material. Check them out if you haven't.

Tommy is such an articulate dude. Great points made by Tommy. I love " PRONG" I saw Prong open for Pantera at Nassau Coliseum, and Sepultura No Showed!!! That show is on youtube!!! It was in 1994!!! Prong kicked ass, and Pantera kicked ass!!! They did some Sepultura songs, and Tommy & Phil and all the guys [ Dime& Vince]( RIP) Rocked together on a few tunes!!! Great show!!!! Tommy, you are a Cool, Down to Earth Guy.🤘🤘

I've been listening to Prong since the 90s. This was an awesome interview. He's really down to earth, and easy going. I really liked his answer to the question of greed. Super cool!

Excellent questions, and great responses from Tommy. Best interview I've heard all year. Too bad it happened over five years ago. 🤣

P.S. That's my bad.
