This review is just my OPINION.

The Nomad is one of my absolute favorite ships in SC. The design, the utility, the sounds... hard to get a feeling like this from the other manufacturers.

I love the nomad. It's one of the best for all-around solo gameplay. The way the tractor beam and cargo grid work makes for very quick loading, unloading without leaving the pilot seat, and gives a feeling of being a complete package for solo gameplay. Love it.

This is one of my favorites, as well. And the hover "landing gear" also helped during some buggy situations with hangars since it didn't actually "touch" the floor when landing. When the hangar is acting like quicksand for your space ship, the Nomad's hovering has got your back.

I really like the Nomad. It's a nice daily driver for a solo pilot.
Only thing I would like to see, but this is just a QoL, would be a control panel at the rear window to control the tractor beam (together with a little bigger rear window).
Oh yeah and of course they should finally remove the flying triangle decal. :)

For the personal inventory, I think it would be better at the armor locker in the back. I can see some "target issue" if it's so close to the bed.

The Nomad was actually my first ship when I started years ago. Before it ever had a tractor beam on it. It's fun to take out every now and then, but I have too many ships that are better for everything it does. By the way, the Jackal paint was what I grabbed when I first got it. Always enjoyed it.

Also, judge me as you will, but it is pretty decent for hauling cargo stolen from other players. No one really suspects the Nomad as being part of a pirate gang.

This thing is straight up a Nissan Frontier with a jump drive. The sheer utility this thing provides makes it worth having. Guys, get one of these. You won't regret it.

The Nomad is my favorite and most recommended non-combat starter. This and a ROC and I am ready for every wipe/restart. Easily does all the entry level cargo and mining game play. As an added bonus, you don't have to worry about stowaways and such as the cargo is separated from the interior. The Nomad starter package also goes on sale several times a year. Being able to get it as a starter package for under $70 US also helps me recommend it.

The Nomad is one of my favorite ships in the verse. It was great for bunker running, just throw the bodies in the back to be looted later. She's a great jack of all trades. I love the design that reminds me of the F-117 Nighthawk with the lines and angles of the hull. Granted it would have been better if it actually had a stealthy profile to match those angles.

Wow I never knew about the weapon racks at the door! A huge bonus is being able to control the tractor beam from the pilot seat for some sneaky salvage and taking weapons off dead ships.
