I love the fact that Kwanghee talks so openly about his surgery and is confident that it was the right thing for him. The ones that deny it when it’s obvious they’ve had work make themselves seem ridiculous. It’s their face and their money so if it makes them happy it’s only their business, no one else’s.

The fact that plastic surgery is taboo is SK when it's literally the cosmetic surgery capitol of the world is crazy

I’m not a big fan of Kwanghee but him openly talking about PS & how he stands ground on his decision & his happiness! Brings so much of positivity & encourages everyone to be brave with their happiness! Cos at the end of the day it’s YOUR life!

Kwanghee is one of the kindest, warmest celebrities in the industry. He has talked about the heinous way he was bullied and made fun of because of his looks and ultimately, that's why he decided to have plastic surgery.

Irrespective of that, he's such a standup guy. I will always cheer and root for him.

There are ALOTof Korean celebrities that will never admit to having plastic surgery...but all you have to do is look at their before and after photos... it's not hard to tell...but for the very few who actually admit to having plastic surgery I commend their honesty.

Many people support plastic or cosmetic surgery by saying that one should do the things that make them happy..But the thing is that, beauty standards are something which is different in different countries.. So there's no absolute measurement and u can never be happy by changing your appearance. Confidence comes from respecting own appearance and by becoming strong mentally.

The things about plastic surgery are the side effects after the procedures. Many reported that they cannot breathe normally after a nose job or they still feel headaches after months of a brown lift and have to take pain relief every day, etc. Who knows what else one has to endure after all of these just to achieve the beauty that they aren't even happy about when looking at themselves in the mirror. Turning to plastic surgery only after you have done a thorough research and as a last resource only. But you do you, no one should have a say about what you want to do to your body. Just want to put it out there, everything just has pros and cons.

I am questioning whether JCW actually had plastic surgery. I really can't see the difference other than what makeup would do to a face and a little weight loss would do. But hey, he looks good either way.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having plastic surgery if it makes one happier with oneself--as long as it doesn't become an addiction. How many celebrities have we seen who have destroyed their attractiveness because of facial dysmorphia. As for the criticism... Korean audiences are especially hard on their idols. They want their features to fit a specific set of criteria but condemn them when they go under the knife to achieve the look that will allow them to have successful careers.

My wife and I have watched many Kdramas since discovering them several years ago. We notice the changes many actors (male and female) go through as they progress. It is regretful when some take surgery too far. I think they mistakenly strive for a perfect face that looks great on a magazine cover, but loose thier unique look that allows them shine as actors. There are more than enough perfect faces chasing the roles for perfect faces. For me, the most memorable and recognizable actors bring a natural and unique boy or girl nextdoor apperance to the screen . If anyone is to blame it is bad managers and talant agencies who fail to build their clients' confidence in their natural looks, and push actors to make extreme changes that are not in thier best interest.

I think for South Korean-ers... To go under surgery is frown upon, but being ugly is a sin

I dont consider chang wook’s surgery(if there’s any nothing confirmed yet) as crazy one.. if ever he has, it was just enough… he already looked so fine before..
