Trump Claims UK's Labour Party Helping Harris Campaign | Vantage with Palki Sharma

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer played down allegations made by Donald Trump's team of "blatant foreign interference" by his Labour Party in the US election, saying it was normal for its volunteers to campaign. The former president's legal team filed a complaint to the US Federal Election Commission alleging the "British Labour Party made, and the (Kamala) Harris campaign accepted, illegal foreign national contributions". The UK government should be concentrating on it on issues in the UK. It is what they are paid for. How would they feel if Russia openly sent politicians to the UK to sway elections? And similar for the US. It has to be independent - or an open free for all. You can not have bias.

The corrupted vote in America is a serious issue. It has always been bad (Nixon really won in 1960) but it got worse during COVID. One day one vote (with the exception of the Military and Diplomats) that is how I believe. I regret that I once participated in mail in balloting in University but there is an argument to be made that students should be an exception as well. So there was a role for mail in balloting but of course it got overused and now is a key factor in American political corruption.

First they gave absentee voting to soldiers and diplomats which seemed okay because after all they were serving our country. Then to the bed ridden after all they can't stand in those long lines. Then to students because a lot of them didn't permanently live where they studied so they should get to vote on stuff that effects them back home. But finally they took the polls away totally and I honestly feel I have lost my country. I want to go back to those days when there were polls (they may still be some places in America that they exist but not where I live) and where there were paper ballots that can be recounted if people think something wrong happened. It really needs to be one day when people come together in their neighborhoods (it used to be among various places elementary schools as well as fire stations) you check yourself in with the older lady who is a poll worker and then vote there. It wasn't perfect back then even but now voting is such a joke I wonder if even participating is validating a lie. I lack faith in the very system we depend upon to secure our liberties.
