Tbh, it feels a different experience in Sonic Lost World. Classic Sonic suits for this type of 3D Gameplay. It changes from usually playing in 2D with him.

I always had that "Classic Sonic but 3D" vibe from Lost World
I know Adventure did it before and better in some ways, but Lost World truly LOOKS and feels like a Classic game in 3D

I agree with another comment here, it does feel like a whole different experience with Classic Sonic here in Lost World. In my honest opinion I could consider this as a Head Canon of an Adventure Classic Sonic would have after Generations's timeline shift much like Mania being a Timeline Shift effect.

But Lost World being like a new version of 3D Blast. I mean this game was the one that heavily brings back the animal friend saving along with Flickies much like 3D Blast.

Also last note, The Wisp explaination for that Head Canon thought could be The Wisps traveling into the Past back in Generations via White World Portal work to this new reality shift.

Am I the only one who doesn't hate this game? Sure it is slower than most sonic games, but it is still a different experience. I still like it. there are other Sonic games I like more, but I still enjoyed this game.
