This is good to know about. Behind my place, some people are doing some tree clearing, and I almost got stuck in mud, and I didn’t know how to go into 4Lo. So thank you for sharing this, otherwise I would’ve never figured it out.

So in my 2017 gmc sierra 1500 i can just shift into auto and 4wd high while in drive at any speed?

This is confusing, same as my trucks manual is. If i put my truck transmission in neutral, must i be moving at "speeds under 3mph"? What if my vehicle cannot move, as if stuck in a snowbank, shouldn't I be able to put my transmission into N, then shift my transfer case into 4L? For some reason, i am having trouble getting my 2012 GMC into 4Low, hoped this would help.
