Thank you again Mr Windsor-Cunningham for your selflessness and insight. Your videos have meant more to me than any webinar from 2nd rate actors/coaches. Your advice is golden and has already made me feel more confident as a voice actor. Thank you and God bless you 🙏🏽

Hello, John! There is a small chance you will see this comment but your videos on how to do a British accent are very helpful. I found them very easy to understand and follow along. Thank you so much for helping people around the world by sharing your knowledge about acting. You are very much loved and appreciated. I hope all is well with you. 😊💛

Hi John: Your recent student and eternal fan Kaz, here. I love this video. It's an incredibly useful lesson; an essential focus that I believe brought me success in my drama school audition. To any viewers reading this: if you are serious about preparing for an audition or improving as an actor in general, I can't recommend his coaching enough. Looking forward to next time. Cheers, sir!

I try and use this method when I’m singing a song. Anything repeated in a song has to mean something and is an extra layer. We don’t just repeat something to fill space. Words in a song can sometimes mean exactly what the character wants to say - or the complete opposite.... but it’s always some version of the truth.

I was reminded of a line from Hamlet while watching this video. "...But if you mouth it, as many of your players do, I had as lief the town-crier spoke my lines."
This is such great advice. I'm starting out in acting myself and I've found that one of my biggest challenges so far in drama school is making choices that are truthful to me. This advice really helps a lot because if I decide what the sub-text is behind the line, it will help narrow down which are the appropriate, truthful choices I could make when speaking the lines.

Brilliant explanation, John. Reminds me of the Stanislavski method of character/scene analysis.
