What's up with the lighting in this video? It looks like it was filmed through instagram with a bunch of filters!

How does it drive? Is it comfy? Deal with bumps ok? How does it handle and make you feel?
What about the infotainment does that stand up to rivals, is it easy to use?
You talked about the suspension but not sure if you said it worked well as its meant to.
And if your going to critic the price compare it to its rivals with there options on just to say why?

Sorry, but what a bad review. It is a premium car and it has to be pricy! I had a chance to take a closer look at DS cars and I"m quite familiar with their engines; and it is worth every penny! First of all, active scan suspension means you won't drive anything comfier than DS in this class and second - compare how much of this technology costs in and Audis or BMWs. So, you are very, very wrong. It is beautiful, engines are good, it is comfortable and well built. Well done DS! I would take this over an Audi, BMW and Mercedes every day. And yes, test a 2.0 HDi, you'll be even more impressed.

So it's a bad car not because it's bad...but because it's priced as a premium? Someone please tell these carbuyer folks that the DS is PSA group's premium brand.

Not only that but the range topper at 40 grand isn't even close to what Audi asks for a similar model.

Please, STOP forcing people into thinking that these are bad cars. STOP being badge snobs when it comes to reviewing anything that is not german, when it's been proven clearly that the premium german brands (Audi and BMW) were among the worst reliable brands in the UK in 2017.

I normally agree with Ginny but I feel she's way off the mark here. Who decides if a car is too much? A similarly specced Audi Q5 would be more. DS is trying to make itself a premium alternative to the likes of Merc, Audi and BMW - it's never going to be that if it sells its cars too cheaply.

Honestly, I just love this car. Got to admire the beauty, I can't seem to agree to her statement saying 'it's too much'. Feels like she's not a fan of the badge as it's not a Merc, Audi, Jag or another top brand...!!!

Ginny is so wrong saying 46, 000 is to much for a prestige ds 7 crossback they is an expensive watch on the dash that probably will be worth a couple hundred or a thousand maybe, they is a MASSIVE 12.5 TOUCH SCREEN!!Beutiful leather seats with a pattern on them, posh head lamps that are led and much more

For me that dashboard design looks better than audi and bmw's.
I also don't get what you mean by "too much".. Too much buttons? I'm pretty sure when panamera had the buttons in the middle like a spine no one disliked it. Hmmm

Clearly NO understanding of premium, what it means or how a brand is developed to meet those criteria. Basically what this reviewing is saying it that PSA shouldn't bother creating a premium brand as badge snobs like the reviewer will always buy the usual suspects. The first step any brand takes to become premium is charge a premium price, that's how Land Rover moved from off road vehicle builder in the late 90' to luxury car supply. Come on carbuyer, learn your subject matter, you're supposed to be experts.

By de way, the DS5 wasn't an up-graded Citroen.

This is the ultimate "there is no bad car, it depends on the user" scenario. Something I see in User Experience and product design everyday. Cars like the interior decoration of ones home is very subjective. Some will see this as value for money, others not. Where I would disagree is when a car reviewer implies influence on what is too expensive. Too many people follow the masses so I would not be surprised if others sing a similar tune after watching this review.

Carbuyer The 70's filter you're using is horrible for a car review where people need to see things more clearly with accurate colors.. I'm sorry to say this but thats just beyond stupid it's not a movie nor an artistic shoot.
I'll look for another youtube reviewer to actually see the car.

How can u not like the interior it's fantastic. I think that Ginny is a bit of a badge snob n feel that if this had a Porsche macan badge on it this review would be entirely different

Agreed with most of the comments here. Not enough praise was given to this car. Seriously though, anybody interested absolutely must see this car in person at a DS dealership to really appreciate it. What a stunning car this is. And a much more refreshing design when compared to the boring German cars about. Compare this to the Audi Q5 of the same year. Looks 10 years older compared to the DS7
