Game 3 he impermed the verudras, and then activated dark ruler. Couldn’t he have impermed the dezirae and then dropped dark ruler it would’ve actually negated the phantom of Yubel and verudras? Very confused on the order of that. Sure he could’ve verudras negated the imperm on the dezirae, but maybe he lets it go and you can catch the opponent slipping. Whereas doing it the way he did there’s no way it works.

Why the yubel player didn't nib game 1 since the ritual spell wasn't in the GY anymore ?

Game one he couldve just summoned grave and popped itself, then res the spirit and go for game, plays into nib but if they nib he still has rage plus phantom which should be enough

Why didn't the yubel player chain Sharvara on Sauravis to freely summon itself as Phantom would be banished anyway?

Because the summon was being negated so it wasn't a card on the field yet. Monsters work differently than spell and traps in that regard. Also if the Yubel player had a Gamma, it would be able to activate.

Most people will already know this, but it's still better than talking about that game 1 where apparently Pain only has a search effect and NOTHING ELSE

Obviously its early, but there was a ton of miss sequencing/ misplays from the yubel player. Game 1 he could have put game out super early and not played into anything, and g3 wasnt done ideally. Also looks like hes not playing terror incarnate too.

only way game 1 wasnt the hardest throw of all time is if he didnt play terror, and not playing terror is a deck building throw, so pick your poison. game 1 was rough to watch
