Aqua Teen Hunger Force is an adult animated series that debuted in December of 2000 on cartoon network.

Aqua Teen is a spin off of the show Space Ghost Coast to Coast. The three main characters of ATHF first premier in Space Ghost Coast to Coast episode "Baffler Meal" has mascots for a fast food chain. Albeit, the script was scrapped and replaced with another script that was written in place of it.

After the pilot "Rabbot" aired the show was greenlit for a season consisting of 16 episode which started airing a year later on Cartoon Network's late night programming block Adult Swim.

After the 7th season the show went on to be given a new title for each new season, such as: Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1 for the 8th season, Aqua Something You Know Whatever for the 9th season, Aqua TV Show Show for the 10th season, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever for the 11th season.

During the production of the 11th season, Adult Swim's president Mike Lazzo ordered that the show should be canceled after the season ends, and so it was.
