It's about the trajectory. It's about the journey. If you're truly saved, you know where your ship is heading.

Not often I see these videos where someone isnt being accusitory in some manner.

It's nice to see videos like this one where the gentleman was actually looking for clarification in order to deepen his understanding.
Love it! God Bless them both!

After my conversion to Christianity I then realized that what I was doing was sinful. Before Christianity I would sin without remorse and without a second thought. Even encouraged others to sin along with me. Now when I break down and sin I feel absolutely A very big difference between then and now.

You go to the doctor, he tells you to make better health decisions, but that visit doesn't make you immune to all sickness. You'll still get sick, but you'll know better. Sometimes you'll ignore his warning and sometimes heed it, but you'll become more mature and grow out of the bad habits because "the doc had a point" and "his appointments hurt my wallet".

We all fall short, sin isn’t a practice. Build yourself up in the spirit through continuous prayer, scripture meditation so you can fight the good fight of faith-Hebrews 12-1-2 🗡️ 📖

One day we will have a "new body" without sin, and we will worship God in both flesh and spirit! ❤️

The questioner misses the point of “relationship”, you don’t get married to the person you love as the perfect husband or wife, but if you love them, you will change over time for that person. If we love God, then day by day it will be reflected in how we act.

This is one of those debates where *both* people have interesting questions/comments. I was relieved by what Frank said, especially since I think I know what the asker was referring to.

We war with our sin, we don't want our sin, that's the difference. We still sin but with ever less frequency. That is the evidence of having Christ in your life. Your behavior, attitude and way of thinking changes, we thirst for God's righteousness, we strive to be holy like God is holy. God is our role model

This is so good. When Christ calls a person He bids them to come and die daily. Grace! Grace to it! This is what Scripture means when it says His kindness leads us to repentance.

As soon as he said what is, I was like here we go. Nobody will be perfect and you are being reborn so it's a lifetime of being retrained not to sin and its a battle every day.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths.

Matthew 11:28-30
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

What if we don't have a choice (but to sin)? Some people tend to ask the most mind-boggling questions these days. I Corinthians 10:13 says that God is faithful, will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to (stand) AND will also make a way to escape (so you won't have to sin, unless YOU choose to).

1 Corinthians 10:13, No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

People often think being baptised in the Holy Spirit resolves or should resolve the inner conflict regarding sin. The opposite is true. The difference is the voice inside us telling us what we should be doing should be louder. Ultimately it’s still our choice because we still have free will. The difference is we have better choices that become more obviously available to us 🙏🏼

I will never be able to understand, even as a Christian, why God would forgive me and continue to love me no matter how much I sin. I don’t understand what makes man so important that a righteous and just creator who has kept every promise, never lied, never betrayed his children…would give me who has done all those things 2 seconds. I cannot comprehend saving someone like me who has repeated failed and sinned, knowing that I will repeated fail and sin again. I hope to ask him one day.
