I’m 17 now, but I started playing CS 1.6 when I was just 5 years old, thanks to my brother, who’s 21 now but was only 9 back then. He introduced me to the game, and I was instantly hooked. I couldn’t wait to come home from kindergarten and jump onto public servers. I played with everyone—from kids my age to adults in their 30s and 40s. It was amazing how the game brought so many different people together. Those moments shaped my love for gaming and are some of my favorite childhood memories.

Spent countless hours playing CS 1.0 - 1.5. Love all classic maps, assault, office, italy, dust 1, prodigy. Had so much fun playing on public server with friends. It was the time when you're just playing for fun, without pressure, without ranks, without skins and all of that bs. Fun was the most important.

Played this 24 years ago and now started to play CS2 after not playing for some 20 years. I've noticed that back then, aiming for the body was the best way to get kills, now you have to aim for the head or you're dead even if you get the first shot off. Just weird how the game is the same and different all at the same time.
