There are certainly some who take things way too far with faith and speaking however Jesus does mention faith being released with words in mark 11:23 & Luke 17:6.

The Lord healed my back when i was listening to a minister preach on faith & healing as was of his verses was 1 peter 2:24 as i listened to him i got revelation that i was healed and as soon as I said “i thank you Lord that by His stripes i am healed” my back was instantly healed.

The Bible has to be studied the way the Bible says to study it. Isaiah28:9-10 “who will God teach knowledge, who will he make to understand…? For commands must be upon commands, line upon line, here a little, there a little.” A disciple must gather verses about a single subject from various places in the Bible to understand Gods position on the subject.
1. Faith is the substance (assurance)? Yes. (Hebrews11:1) But assurance of what?
2.“That God is (exists) AND that He (God) is a REWARDER OF THOSE WHO DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM to PLEASE HIM. (Hebrews11:6) But how do I get faith?
3. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the WORD OF GOD.

Working hard, to study the Bible, for the SOLE PURPOSE OF PLEASING GOD produces FAITH (assurance) that God will give me what he said he will give me, and punish what he said he would punish. A reward for the righteous and the wicked. BELIEVING IN GOD IS ONE THING. BELIEVING GOD IS THE NEXT MOST IMPORTANT THING.

People knows what the Bible says because they can quote scripture. When explaining it where people have to act it out in human form they can't. Meaning they can't explain it in a way that a person can understand an apply it.
