Open the floodgates then say "we need more money". It's almost as if this is all deliberate.

Can these journalists ask anything other than "what is your message?". It''s lame.

On February 7, the US Senate blocked consideration of a bipartisan compromise proposal for border security and immigration, just three days after its public release. The compromise bill was the result of painstaking, months-long negotiations, and may have a longer shelf life than the past few weeks’ political frenzy suggests. While the bill has some flaws, it was the best achievable, bipartisan approach the United States could get in 2024 to break a decades-long gridlock on border security and immigration policy. This landmark bill is worth understanding because it may be the starting point for major reforms in 2025 no matter who wins the White House and the two houses of Congress in the November 5, 2024 election - Thomas S. Warwick

Gates, not everybody has a Daddy that gets them a job and helps coverup his indiscretion’s. Most people work hard and work toward a move up to the next position on merit.

Why didn't Biden do this before? Why did he remove the border protection we had on his first day of office?

Mike Johnson, if you were concerned about the border, you would have led Congress to pass the bipartisan border bill instead of bootlicking to your dear leader.

There it is, democrats need to remind the people of the republican obstruction at every turn. Also repeat the fact that the border issues could have been made much better if they did not block progress....as they had always intended to do.

You don’t think you just told the people coming over the southern border what they need to tell border patrol, when you just listed what those higher standards are? 🙄

Executive orders are emergency measures, they help in a short run. But what more can a President do when Congress doesn't cooperate?

*38:23* That panelist must be living in a wonderland bubble detached from Earth if she assumes that the antiwar crowd will be content with halfhearted "gestures" toward _"some material progress"_ short of *bringing the conflict to an end.*
