I'm currently flying at a Part 61 flight school. I'm flying a 1966 Cessna 150F. I'm really enjoying my time with this school but you're right about the archaic planes.

Im currently makeing my sailplane licence and thats the reson im in a clup and not a flight school. Im not old enough anyways so why should i rush? And still on flightweekends i can rent our Discus cs for 4 euros and make an whinch launsh for 3.6euros and depending on the weather i could fly for houers. (aslong as my flightteacher wants) Jes it takes longer but in my opinion it makes more sence to learn over an period of time than to cram everything you have to learn for the licence in two weeks. I can get actuall experience this way

I was training in 1998- 1999 . The company I worked for went out of business and I could no longer afford the lessons. . . And now at age 64 I cannot pass the medical to get a license . . But to any young person in good health I would encourage to get flight lessons from this gentleman's school or Academy. . . Anyone who actually advertises lessons with the passion that he does will get you flying. . . It's absolutely a wonder to fly an aircraft . . It was actually easier to me than driving a car or operating a motorcycle . . If you have the interest and love the idea of being a pilot . . Go for it !
