I'm just about to get "back" into it (my father did it much more than i did, i've really only done sheathes and cases, not much carving). I'm happy to see I have pretty much everything i need to get started. My Tandy location moved and i did not have a source to purchase, but i've found a new local shop I'm very excited to go and check out. Just need a few yards and i'm gonna get started again :) Of course the first project on the list is a sheathe lmao

I use that same swivel knife with that hollow ground blade! I find the blade turns easier, but that may just be my imagination.

Im from sweden, so just the knife would be, in my own currency, about 500. I really wanna try this as I think its really intresting, but yeah ... the greens are hard to come by outside of rpg´s.
