A Look At Motörhead’s Ace of Spades Deluxe Triple Vinyl Edition | 40th Anniversary

2020 marked the 40th anniversary of Motörhead’s landmark album known as Ace of Spades. In celebration of this milestone, Sanctuary Records released three special versions of the album: a single LP, a deluxe box set, and a 3-LP set — the last of which, we’ll be checking out in this video. R.I.P. Lemmy.

Two things I forgot in the video: 1) the inner sleeves are not poly-lined, they’re just paper; and 2) the between-song banter during the live set with Lemmy and the band is hilarious! Don’t miss out on it.

What did YOU think of this bookset? Would it be enough for you or would you splurge on the full box set? I’d also love to hear from the true Motorhead fans out there and see how much interest there is for you in these anniversary releases. Hell, if you just have a really great Motorhead story, I’d love to hear about that, too. Let me know all of that in the comments below.

I've got the same version myself, great lil' package. Blows my mind how well the album itself has aged after all these years.

I like me some Motorhead but never flew the flag as high as the patch wearing pontificators. Lemmy will always be Lemmy <period stop>. Yeah, that !

I have not heard good things about the remastering job that was done for this so I am going to pass on it.

Been a Motörhead fan for over 40 years but this is just a cash in. Thankfully I've the original vinyl and not interested in this awful remastered junk, rather hear the lp as it was originally intended to be heard. But the 2 live albums are of interest but again I'll say it's a con. Not paying over £100 for 2 live offerings. This is an insult to original fans who I highly doubt will pay for another rehash of another remastered rip off from a greedy record company
