I used reusable pads for about 6 years. I like them. They feel better than disposable pads.

I soak them then wash them with bar soap. I use hydrogen peroxide to remove any stains because it dissolves any blood or tissue. That's why doctors say not to clean open wounds with it. We dissolved a piece of liver in hydrogen peroxide in biology class. It's legitimate way to clean them. It gets rid of any stains without bleaching it.

I use oxiclean or oxygen powder and laundry soap to wash them. They smell really fresh and feel soft.

I only use disposable pads if I can't use my cloth pads or traveling and need single use ones that can be thrown away.

I might use a menstrual cup some day.
