My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ Youtube. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of Youtube I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on Youtube won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

Neil was referred to as "Your favorite drummer's favorite drummer". He also wrote the lyrics for Rush's songs too, which is overlooked by most.

Neil rode a motorcycle by himself, following the tour…. So he could enjoy the country and reflect. He wasn’t just the greatest drummer of our time…. He was a scholar…. An author…. Wrote just about all the Rush lyrics…. He was a deep thinker…. A special Human being. The world lost a really special one when he passed. RIP Neil

Almost forgot: Don’t feel bad about not knowing who Neil Peart was. I’m sure most Rush fans will agree: Rush has been criminally under appreciated for YEARS. It’s a low down dirty shame that these 3 exceptionally talented musicians had been overlooked by Rock N Roll Hall of Fame for so many years, despite earning 50+ gold, platinum and double platinum records over the past 47 years. They were only inducted (after releasing their last studio album) in 2013, nearly 40 years after the release of their first album.

This is why he was voted best drummer three years in a row, in the fourth year he asked people not to vote for him, as he said he became to self conscious of any little mistake he was making, which made his mind scream fake. you don't deserve the right to be number one, a very humble guy to be sure. He certainly made me want to better my drum playing.

An interviewer asked Geddy Lee one time if they ever thought of getting a drum machine. His reply? We already have a drum machine. 🤣😂🥁

I’m a 60 year old who’s been playing drums since I’ve been 13. Neil’s always been my favourite. Whether playing drums on a church worship team or in a rock/pop/country/celtic band I always bring a little “Neil” with me. He was such a humble & gracious gift to the world of music, the arts, drumming, humanity….you name it. Great job being in awe of this solo. RIP Neil.

This man is such talented musician. His drums were always tuned so close to perfect. So clean and sharp. He must have spent hours rehearsing before a concert. His hand and feet movements were well above normal. Outstanding

I forget where I heard this, but I quote it often. If a musician wants to keep perfect timing, they will follow a metronome. If a metronome wants to keep perfect timing, it follows Neil Peart. Seen him and Rush several times, and it's always been my favorite concert. RIP Professor 😪
