जब भी किसी Industry या construction site पर कार्य हो रहा होता है तो कई बार machine से निकलने वाला sound इतना अधिक होता है कि ऐसे स्थान पर ear protection लेना अनिवार्य हो जाता है। अगर व्यक्ति ऐसे स्थान पर निकलने वाले sound के dB (Decibel) अनुसार अगर sound protection रूप में ear plug या ear muff का प्रयोग नहीं करता है तो वहाँ कार्य करने वाले व्यक्ति को hearing loss जैसी समस्या का सामना करना पड़ सकता है।
