He is highly talented, there's no doubt about it. He's definitely one of the best drivers to grace this earth, but he's not THE best.
But being the best isn't his aim. His aim is to entertain, and he does so quite well.
The reason I like videos like his Gymkhana video, Gitten Jr's Drifting in the KSA video, Foust's Mulholland drift video, and others is because they bring racing and performance driving to the masses. I think it's great for the entire automotive community these videos exist.

Everyone saying ken block isn't good at rally should get behind the wheel of a 640whp beast and do 70-80mph through the woods. Just walking away from that makes you a better driver than most. Keep doin what you do mr block we love you and your rally and your gymkhana. Much respect.

First guy who answers to me without flaming, thanks! You are quite right. Ken Block doesn't claim to be the best. Honestly i have nothing against this guy. He is still a great driver. I am just tired of these guys claiming he would be the best, without having seen the legends driving the Group B rally cars in the 80s.

Okay, but look how old is Block and when he started his career in comparison to Loeb for example.The thing with Loeb is that this guy is the best rally driver we have ever seen and probably will see.Ken Block is great entertainer and showman.Look, he's not saying that he's World Champion.He's always saying that he has great fun driving rally car and that's it.He knows where is his place.He might be overrated by people, not by himself.But what he does with Gymkhana stuff is really worth appreciation

Exactly! Rallies in 80s and 90s were completely different than present ones. Rear wheel drive 037, then Delta, Audis and all A group cars required very different driving style, more agression and more commitment :) Ken Block is a good rally driver, great showman and very nice guy (I had a chance to meet him personally) That's all about him :) But rallies are still beautiful without a doubt.

Yeah, todays rallys are still great to watch. I still get goosebumps sometimes only when hearing the cars. But still i am a big fan of the Group B cars. I don't know if you have seen it, but Audi made a little movie with where they filmed Walter Röhrl's feet in the Audi Quattro. Simply impressive. You won't see this in any other car than a group B car.
