My wife and I play co-op games together every day, and we’re always on the lookout for games that we can play together. So, if y’all have any recommendations, please, drop them in the comments. And, in that spirit of sharing, here are 3 co-op games we recently played that you might be interested in checking out.
Hand in Hand is a game that doesn’t HAVE to be played in co-op, but it’s obviously built around the idea of cooperative play. Your two characters are split apart, but the puzzles and platforming challenges require you to work together in order to progress.
WarioWare Move It is the most unique co-op experience we’ve had in a while. You take on a gauntlet of motion based “micro-games”. You sometimes play together, but a lot of the time, the game has you taking turns, swapping back and forth. It’s chaotic, and can be very fun, but it’s not a very relaxing game.
Finishing things off, I’ve got a throwback for you: New Super Mario Bros Wii. This is the game that pioneered simultaneous co-op in Mario games. To be honest, we think the newer 2D Mario games are better. But you have to respect the original
