🌍 We Are One Body 🌍

The Prophet ﷺ had said:

مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَوَادِّهِمْ وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ وَتَعَاطُفِهِمْ مَثَلُ الْجَسَدِ

The example of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body.

إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنْهُ عُضْوٌ تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى

When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”

(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6011, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2586)

Our brothers and sisters around the world, from East to West, are suffering and as an Ummah, we spoke out and mobilised, feeling the pain of their hardship. But as time passed, the news disappeared from our screens, and our focus shifted.

Yet, the suffering has not stopped. They still face oppression, lack of medicine, and limited aid. Their only help comes from Allah ﷻ.

Let’s not forget them in our prayers, for their pain is our pain.
