The fact the mostly blew my mind was that Tom Hanks was originally going to be Phil, but he turned it down because he didn't want to be the character who is rude to everybody. That's the reason why Tom Hanks never plays the bad guy even the Phil is not the bad guy in the movie.

Also a crazy fun fact: the german title of the movie "...und täglich grüßt das murmeltier" (english: "...and everyday greets the groundhog") Has become a saying in germany, which is used, everytime a unpleasant thing happens in regular intervals.

-"yea... and everyday greets the groundhog..."

Great stuff!!! I love classic and older movies like this! Keep the classics rolling! Would love to see behind the scenes: Fiddler on the roof, Titanic, Men in Black, fried green tomatoes, princess bride, sound of music, remember the Titans, etc.... Newer movies seem to have a hidden agenda and no moral compass, so I don't care for them.

In the ten years I'd want to learn piano, too.

Catch up on some (lots of!) reading, get better at math and learn a new language.

Part of me doesn't see it as so bad since I wouldn't have to worry about paying bills or aging. Socially is where it would be hard since, ironically, it's the people around me who would be "stuck" while I would be the one changing over time.

It seems like a good thing at first. Having the chance to learn and do what you want to but no sunlight, no hot shower, the same type of food in the town eventually would take a toll. Would be nice to learn to play an instrument at your own pace and to learn a few different languages and read the classic novels.
