There are so many errors in this video!!!
1) Dave Millican made the original UFC belt. It’s NOT solid gold, it’s gold plated zinc!
2) they don’t make a new belt for every win.
3) Dana White is a completely full of crap! The cost of that belt is roughly, $1500-$2000. The cost is as follows
A) plates are about $1100-$1600 depending on the etcher
B) the leather strap is about $400
3) the actual value of that belt (ring worn) is no more than $8k

Yeno I remember when Chris Weidman won the title and the rematch with Silva Chris put his belt in Ray Longo's gym at the time, for people who visit the gym they could get a picture of the belt on them well Dana dropped by the gym and told Chris that it wasn't a fake belt and it was worth 250g's I think at the time could of been 300g's but Chris nearly took a stroke😂

The UFC title belts old ones are not worth remotely close to 300k. A professional belt maker (like Dave Milican) will usually charge 25 to 30k tops for a design and manufacturing with the cost going rapidly down per belt if more are ordered (there are many UFC title belts that have been produced). The old design would only be worth a couple of grand, as they were gold plated and nickel with crystals not valuable stones in them. The new design is much more expensive around 50k per belt (original design and first belt probably double that), plus using legitimate rubies.

4:51 Get your facts right. The belts aren't "solid gold" and they aren't real rubies. The UFC refers to them as rubies because of the color, but they are artificial rubies. And the belt is only real gold PLATED and only in certain parts.

the cost of the raw materials on these belts dont even come close to 300k$ though. I wouldnt take Dana's word on this one^^
