I have news for Dawie, the world and South Africa needs Artisans, or Tradesmen in Afrikaans Ambagsman. During the 1960's hundreds on young men took up a 5 year apprenticeship cotract where you learned a trade, as well as going to technical college. IE. Electricians, Diesel mechanics, Toolmakers Motor mechanics, Aircraft mechanics, Plumbers etc. On completion of your 5 year contract you received a certificate of proof that you are a qualified Artisan. Skilled workers in this country are sadly lacking.

American factories will have robots doing the work. Most countries were charging way more tariffs than America, when America was charging zero, they are the ones that will feels the pressure.

I think Donald is doing a good job for his country. Remember not everyone can be an engineer, Doctor, musician or sales person. The middle class will look better in factory setups. The middle class needs something.

Sad i remember i use to work in a clothing factory, when Trevor Manual was the minister of trade 😮 then shut happened after negotiation wth China 😢 factory's start closing down, cheap import start increasing, i saw this shut coming on years ago, big companies start moving overseas, and so our experts where jobs was available, sad sad sad, South Africa must start praying as never before otherwise you will come like other African countries, ( carry 1 thousands rand in a bag to buy one bread at a shop, the rand means nothing 😢😢😮

I'll probably get flack for this but someone has to say it. People should worry more about how this government affects you for the past 30 years - than what tariffs from the USA affects us. If we had a competent government in the first place that is not aligned with terrorist and communist regimes and ideologies, things would've been light years better for us, just to begin with.
Secondly, you cannot proclaim that people don't want to be factory workers, especially in another country. The factories was closed because of BANKRUPTCY because their business were stolen.
