Is it possible to move all clips from ableton in the Force so that is an alternative to perform then without the computer ?

Well apparently we cannot anymore? Talked with their chat support just now cuz I never got it to work on Windows... and they told me I cannot use the Force to control Live? Should I revert back a few firmware update or is anyone still able to do it?

I want to use the 8x8 Pads on The Force while controlling Ableton Live!
The pads on the force would be a reason to own/use the force, for people who don’t own Push1 or Push2! But it doesn’t work the same way they work!
So I spend £1400.00 for a stand-alone / controller that only controls half of what I want to do! Because It no longer is a instrument, While in Live Mode!
So I will still need a keyboard/MIDI controller. I spend all that money for a hybrid Standalone Instrument/MIDI Controller that only half controls the DAW!
That really don’t seem to make sense! Why would I want to use my standalone unit that can almost fully mimic Ableton Lives DAW functions by itself only to be limited & restricted when in Ableton Live Mode? It becomes a limited Hybrid and will hinder the workflow rather than aid it!
In its current state it doesn’t have a useful point to it! The early demos advertised a fully integrated Ableton Live working in the display of the force and the 8x8 pads was able to do what they are able to do in standalone mode and looked to be a joy to use! But this update is not what was promised and advertised!
Now it’s some iPad music app like graphic visuals that seems to be adding more confusion rather than a aid to the workflow!
The main feature is the 8x8 pads that get made useless when in live mode! This is stupid especially when the touchscreen can handle all the things the 8x8 pads have been locked into doing!

Once again guys I am lost... Could I use my ableton live with my audio interface and my plugged guitar on it with all my vsts etc and record phrases live on clips on my force project? Also the wireless thing here in my case is not really usefull could I do that? Could you guide me through that with 1.2.3. simple steps?

I don't want to use ableto live. that's why I bought akai force.
When arrange mode will be included in updates?

Why couldn’t you all just mimick the ableton ui in the force and mpc just like the pictures from the beta release

So if you can control session view with the force then you can arrange your songs although I know some ppl like to arrange their songs in arrangement mode in ableton and then you can access all of the Force’s capabilities to enhance your ableton experience sort of just moved my Push 2 out of the way.... is this the Push 3 in disguise?

How does controlling the note repeat work in this mode? Can you also use the Akai Force/Live Note repeat in Ableton Control mode?

I pressed live control and got a blank screen saying "waiting for communication from Ableton live"...this clearly doesn't work, or this hasn't given us pre config details

now if this was as easy to do as your video says that would be great but all i get is waiting for ableton live (10) to communicate and yes their both on the same wifi network

Still can't connect mine. I get a waiting for Abelton message. And the remote mode doesn't work either, the name of my Akai Force comes up as "Invalid Serial Number" Any way I can get help?

Mine won’t even do this. I get a blank screen saying ‘Waiting for communication from Ableton Live’ but it is but it is connected via live link. Ableton midi preferences doesn’t see it as ‘Akai Force’ it shows as ‘Akai Network - Daw Control & Akai Network - MIDI’.

Zero functionality.

I have my Force connected via ethernet and link is active, but when I press "live control" the Force just says "waiting for communication from Ableton Live". I can't get past this message to the actual functionality. Help please.

hey guys... HOW DO YOU LOAD YOUR PROJECT ? LOL... I've been searching for this solution for hours... I simply do not know how to load my project from my Akai Force onto my Ableton Live... I have setup everything with Live Control but my project is not showing up on my laptop on Ableton Live ! :( .... can you please help ?

Hello Akai, The Force is still Uncomplete ! can u give a release date for the new Force Firmware providing the Drumsynth and (more important) the Arranger mode (as shown at NAMM 2020) ?

Just got the force and I'm pretty blown away to be honest, It has just about everything I could have wanted in an all in one box to use in conjunction with Ableton.
One thing I seem to be missing is the Ability to send midi notes from the force into Ableton clips. In other words I want to use the Force to replace my midi keyboard.

It seems that one way to achieve this would be by using Force external midi channels via a Midi interface then into Live, but surely there is a better way?
Can this be done from within Live control mode?

Can anyone tell me if they have managed to setup "Midi clock start stop sync" whilst using Ableton Live link with the Force? I can use the Ableton Link function but I cant start/stop the Force from Ableton and visa versa.
