I think you have done a very good job on explaining the shot and the way to shoot the shot. I also think your viewers should know that practice time can take a lot of time. Finding ways to do little shortcuts while practicing might be good for them . Example would be when you are shooting balls into the same pocket. The shortcut here would be to have all the balls beside you so you can quickly grab another ball. When you start thinking like this you will come up with different ways to many shortcuts. Having a table with a ball return like you have is very helpful also. Of course i did notice that you have the balls beside you while you were showing us this drill. There's a lot involved in mastering this shot. What it really does for you is to eliminate aiming in the effort to perfect a straight stroke. What you learn, a straight stroke, affects all shots. One thing he didn't cover is perception and visual alignment. What is straight anyway? Where is your vision center? Are your eyes square to the shot line? I do this with a full length mirror, and I video with my phone. You can learn a lot about what you're doing wrong with that. I do this with follow into the pocket. To pot the cue ball with follow with a high percentage is very difficult, but if you miss, you didn't hit it straight and centered because there was no doubt about the aim point.

Another important thing to note is that after people get down on the shot, some change the angle of where they were planning to hit initially while standing, which often times results in a miss. Most of our Aiming is done while standing, so we should trust our judgement and just go for the shot.
