Eagerly and excited I finally rented a BMW m4 but then I drove it, and let's just say it wasn't the driving experience I was expecting. My first impressions of this beautiful car could be slightly skewed because of my experience with my personal BMW 335i, but nonetheless here's my review of the BMW M4 you guys voted for.

The reason it feels slow to you is because the car is naturally fast. Going 90mph in the M4 is going to feel a lot different than going 90mph in a Honda CR-V. Also imo, it’s the perfect size. M5 and above is where it gets to be too big of a car for me.

If you ever do a review again. Do not compare to your car. I had 335i modded close to 500hp and now an m4 the difference is a lot but an m4 is just a way better car.

Sounds like he's not used to modern fast cars. Especially with not feeling the speed, that allows you to control the car more at high speeds which is a good thing. Would you want to be in an old car going 60mph and it feels like a death trap???

Delete the 335i out of your head before reviewing a beast like the M4. I have the 435xi and I know I can make it faster and better. I don’t have the M4 cuz I need an awd. But we all know the M4 is a gem 💎.

Cannot agree with anything in this vid. Mirrors are classic M design.
"Look how low it looks" mate it needs lowering. The Wheels don't fill the arch at all.

You’re exactly right about heavy electric steering vs heavy hydraulic steering. The heavy hydraulic steering gives so much more of raw connection to the car. Love the reviews, keep them coming 👌🏾

Go 180mph and you'll see this is where the top end on this car just shines. It feels slow because it handles the power and speed extremely well.

I appreciate your honesty about your driving experience. It varies from user to user, I have a 2016 535i, my homie has a 2018 M4, and my previous car (wrecked it sadly) was a 335i GT. Playing with all these cars, the experience was different for me. I am subbing anyway but I would say continue speaking on your experience driving these cars. When I drove my friends M4, it felt like I was in a spaceship that I did not want to get out of. So much fun.

Electric steering is the worst thing that ever happened to modern cars

I drive my M4 on Sport Plus Steering setting for 3 years now. I also have adaptive suspension and I drive it on sport plus. 6 speed manual often gets me in to triple digit speeds without me realizing I'm going that fast. Car is a beast and I smoked few 335s with ease, mod or not they can't hang with this engine.

Well the reason why it feels slow at 90 is because german cars are made for the autobahn. If we had a highway in the US that carried an unlimited speed limit then thats where the car would shine
