E-Bikes with a Pinion Gearbox

Our shifting technology is well known among touring bikers. But our encapsulated gearbox shows its advantages also and especially in e-bikes! The gearshift works silent and clean and doesn´t ask for daily cleaning and oiling. Without grumbling it runs 10,000 km maintenance-free. The combination of rear motor and Pinion gearbox guarantees harmonious riding and a low impact on the drive train. Compared to the mid-motor system, the drive train is exposed to significantly less forces.

Hey Pinion, why don’t you work on a universal BB gearbox? You know, one that would resemble a BBSHD mid drive, but gears only, no motor. And make it light. Make it lighter than any other drivetrain, even the average derailleur system. I’ll give you a hint. Use steel gears but with splined aluminum or hollow cores. If only the wear surfaces and bearings or bushings were steel and the majority of the gear material was aluminum it would be far lighter and more efficient than your current design. The housing can be engineered to be way lighter too. Perhaps it goes through the BB shell (like the Bafang unit, but has a cap on the other side that the user will bolt down upon install, sealing away the spindle bearings in with the oil bath and increasing stiffness/ reducing weight. Idk. Just try. Please! I want to put a Pinion on MY bike. Not on a bike I have no interest in riding. And even if this was the same weight or even a bit heavier, the universal design would be a huge hit! It’s what the cycling world needs and wants! Put the rest of them out of business!

I would really like to have a pinion bike if you can integrate a motor on gearbox since that no more inertia on wheel and the CoG moves right beneath rider.

whats the difference between this type of gearboxes and wolfhub planetary gearboxes? I've research invention about gears in which to get this result : input power = output power × 2 speed × 2 .notice this invention for self running motor.
