Joby's Quiet Electric Air Taxi Debuts in Korea

We've successfully completed a series of test flights in Korea as part of the K-UAM Grand Challenge, demonstrating a series of various flight profiles including fully wing-borne flight.

As an aviation/military buff for 50 years, there is a lot to admire in the Joby design. The large and quiet rotors placed as far apart at each corner of the main wing and tail surfaces should give it very robust pitch and roll authority making for excellent flight stability in turbulent/inclement conditions and giving it a wide operational envelope. In addition to prosaic Uber style service, it should be attractive for military applications and perhaps oil and gas offshore runs (range permitting). Considering Archer just did a deal with Anduril, I hope Joby is hard at work looking for applications in the Defense sector which could be enormously lucrative. Joby has the product and i’m extremely excited to ride on it in the near future.

It's very touching to see the Joby S4 flying in Korean airspace.
I'm a huge Korean fan of Joby Aviation and JoeBen Bevirt.
I hope I can see Korean landscape onboard someday soon.
