Girl this isnt “all an illusion”. U legit have a lot of her features alrdy- its actually crazy! Obviously Marilyn Monroe also wore makeup - but even without u any makeup- u two have huge similarities!

What sets this apart is not only the accuracy of the makeup placements, but the fact that it’s not perfectly blended, and applied just like they did back then. The way u have mimicked Marilyn’s lashes is amazing - Marilyn always wore them very flattened and low on her eye lid that way all the attention would go to her eyes to make them more seductive. Good job love ur content ❤️❤️

I use the rose tinted vaseline on my cheekbones. On a no make up day it's great with fake tan on your face for colour, rose tinted vaseline on cheek bones and lips, curled lashes and your done. Perfect in the heat when foundation just melts. Tint your brows too so you can go without brow makeup.

The rose vaseline is £1 a tin.

Huge Monroe fan here-you got everything perfectly (esp the nose). Most ppl don’t realize how accentuated her lips actually were, they weren’t that plump, Whitey overlined them heavily 👄 ❤️

This whole marilyn series is just an example. There's tons of professionals or specialists doing her makeup but no one gets even close!!!! The few ones who do, well, they just get close, they don't nail it like you do

i'm an absolute fan of norma jean, and you definitely got this spot on i would just say the lashes are a little too big and too dark ! the way they're placed is perfect too !! oh and her lips are lined far apart, like her cupids bow is more round and further spread

It's important to understand that in order to do Marilyn's makeup and actually look like her, you have to already kind of look like her. Some people may never be able to pull off the look and that might be due to their eye shape. I for one, cannot do that sort of doe eyed wing.. beautiful makeup, but I hate the idea that everyone is doing it "wrong". Art is art, and that is their take on the classic look
