No 10 is a great idea. Wasn’t going to have a waste tank on my campervan conversion to save space, but don’t want to empty straight onto the ground. Thought about a bowl, but now I have the perfect solution. Many thanks.

Your sense of humor too, goes with the sense of adventure! Lovely video for us camper van newbies. Thank you.

Love the fun in this video, I laughed out loud at Mike trying to put the phone into the case, well done Tricia for not letting on. You both work so well together.

Number 3 - Tarpaulin, poles and guys ropes. Keeps the rain off the open back doors.
Number 4 - Another tarpaulin, poles and guy ropes and ground cover for underneath. Keeps the rain and sun off the side door. If you haven’t got a rail get one fitted. Means you can rest in the fresh air outside the van. Lie on the mat, if you don’t have chairs.
Number 5 - A decent drive away awning. Not essential, but great for staying somewhere a couple of days. So you only take it in that circumstance.
Number 6 - Fold away stools, and foldaway table. (Store almost anywhere in the van - even in the footwell - and gives you outside comfort in seconds). Takes up much less space than foldaway chairs. Can also be carried with a rucksack on a long walk - see how jealous everybody else is when you are sitting off the wet ground (or wet rocks) enjoying your lunch.
Number 7 - Foldaway chairs. If you have the space. But useless for walks - get a small folding stool instead. Or maybe an inflatable “chair” or whatever else inflatable you want to use.
Number 8 - A portable compressor fridge (if you don’t have one installed in the van). A potential luxury item, but you can get these for a reasonable price nowadays. Dometic ones are probably the best - assuming a win on the lottery.
Number 9 - “portable” urinal and wipes - in certain circumstances can be a god-send. And easily packed away in a rucksack. (mostly a tip for the ladies - men are just disgusting and you don’t need to be concerned about them). Porti-potty if you have space, in a toilet tent or awning. Again, in a small camper van these can be essential for those of a “certain age”. Unless you enjoy “hiking” in the dark - and flashing badgers. Or worse still, having a conversation with an insomniac in the camp toilet blocks at 3 am.
Number 10 - personal wash items including toothbrush and paste. Absolutely essential to remain in a partnership - and should I really have to mention these? Learn how to take a “towel bath” (tip for the new, spoiled generation - not anybody over 60).

Kettles are not really essential (As long as you can boil water in a small pan - you do wash up last night’s stuff don’t you?). But if you have the space in the van, electric hookups etc. then why not? But you can always buy a cup of coffee somewhere - even at the top of Mount Snowdon (and Mont Blanc on the Italian side - again assuming you had a recent win on the “gee gees”. And you can always try sheep droppings - there, I went a whole paragraph without mentioning Costa Coffee or Starbucks.

Enjoyed your ideas and the presentation - you had fun with it but didn’t talk on endlessly!! Off across Canada to the west from Ontario this season. Hard to imagine from the depths of a snowbelt spell.

Oh yes & can I add another App? It’s the OS ( Ordnance Survey) great for walks ( tho good to have map as back up in remote areas) as it tells you exactly where you are so no getting lost ! Also suggests walks to try

Another cracking video. For me it has to be my ipad as that is what I do all my editing on and filming stuff gets us out and about. Top van item would be our non slip trays as we don’t take our table away with us. Loved the magnets on the jars 👍

Hey you guys are just fantastic, my husband and I have watched nearly all your vlogs over the last week. We’ve put a deposit on a van and our adventure starts in August so your information has helped us a lot. We’ve also been to quite a few places you’ve been like Wales, St Cyrus (one of our favourite beaches ) and the west coast of Scotland.
I would love to know more about your cooking skills in the van the chilli prawns look amazing…… I’m not a great cook and a bit worried about my lack of skills for campervaning. Cheers anyhoo and keep the vlogs coming.
Kind regards
