The cannon 5d mark ii is a great camera. Still used by many pros and still taking beautiful pics every day. And yes the camera is from 2008 I believe so it’s getting older. But it has full video and live view. Funny part is there are way more advanced cameras today but the people calling this camera to old to use don’t even understand the features of this camera and are really lost on a new pro camera.

Too old? This camera might have come out in 2008 but even today its a benchmark. The picture rendering is insanely good, it is also the last 5D to use that sweet Canon color science everyone loves and tries to emulate in post production when shot with newer cameras.

Im still use this as my main camera and my main source of income in wedding photography for 7 years now. With this old camera I make living since I am single till now we have a daughter. And it still work great.

Go buy a brand new camera then. Guarantee a photographer who knows what they’re doing could use an even older 5D classic and still take far better and more useable pics than you do.

The fuck do you mean to old? This camera is still better than most mirrorless garbage even though it's over a decade old. There is a reason the 5d has such a name, extremely versatile camera

I bought it new when it came out. Still use it. Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of photos. Use with Canon 600L F4, 300L F4, 70-200L F2.8, 100F2.8 Macro, 50mm 1.4, 25-104L. You have to learn to adjust your color balance with photos but video is spot on. It’s a great camera and worth checking out if you’re in the market for a used Canon. Very reliable!

To the content creator - Have you looked at the rendering from this glorious sensor? I waste countless hours futilely trying to get my Sony mirrorless photos to look like they were shot on a Canon 5d m2. Family portrait clients routinely gasp with delight when they first see their images made with this beautiful camera (the reactions are still positive with Sony but not just gasps of utter delight as with the 5dm2) and you are worried about *burst *rate??

I was researching a 5d mark camera. People were recommending the ii and iv vs the iii. The two was somewhere better than the iii. Very relevant today.
