When I learned to make beats back in 1999 or 2000, I was all about Dre, Storch, Neptunes etc. Many of my older colleagues told me why don't you do beats like Alchemist's, but I didn't like sampling and all that messy stuff, I played the piano and preffered to create my own clean melodies and drums. Now, almost 25 years later I started to appreciate his style and I see why the folks back then liked him so much.
